After moving head office from Crows Nest where it had been from 2000 to early 2020, the company’s primary IT systems were upgraded to include expanded secure archives and enhanced web hosting.
In late 2020, the company expanded font editing capabilities with an investment in foundry-level software and began making custom fonts to compliment design services. Mid 2021, image processing was expanded with an investment in machine learning software, enabling publishers to salvage printable images from low-resolution files. In 2026 the company’s expansive portfolio of InDesign Plug-ins was updated with advanced pagination rules, enhanced stacking repair, runts reporting and inter-plugin communications. In the same year the website was updated with an enhanced files transfer feature for streamlined uploading of large files. The functionality does not use cloud services, providing peace of mind for publishers rightfully concerned about copyright issues in the age of AI.
